Aspirants who want to do their MBBS must write NEET, the national entrance exam for getting admissions into medical colleges. It is one of the most popular and prestigious course and it is for 5 ½ years along with a 1-year long internship at the end. MBBS is the minimum qualification after which you can take up an MD in the specialty of your choice. NEET is the only entrance exam to get admissions into one of the 66,620 seats of MBBS in India. State entrance exams are no longer conducted so, it is important to apply and write NEET then submit the scored to Karnataka CET or any state CET board. It can also be submitted for COMED-K.

Dental is also a popular course choice among biology students. Bachelor of Dental Surgery, aka BDS, is 5 years duration with one year compulsory internship. This course is also offered through NEET.
